Unified Messaging is a tool that enables users to manage all their voice and e-mail messages from the convenience of their multimedia equipped PC or laptop. Unified Messaging integrates with e-mail applications and provides a simple user interface for message reply and attachments. Unified Messaging is enabled via software keycodes available in increments of 1, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 or unlimited user licenses. Currently, Nortel supports Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002 (XP), 2003, Groupwise 6.5, 7.0, and Lotus Notes 6.0, 6.5 for groupware clients. For Internet based client software, unified messaging will integrate with the following: Outlook Express 6.0, Outlook 2000/2002/2003 in Internet Mail mode, Netscape Mail 6.2x/7.0/7.1/7.2, Qualcomm Eudora Email 6.0 and 6.1, Citrix Metaframe XP, and Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server.
